Matt Roberts
Associate Athletics Director for Development
Matt Roberts joined the Sooner Club staff in July of 2006 as the Director of Development. Roberts made the move to the Sooner Club following a two year stint as the director of marketing for the University of Oklahoma Athletics Department. In September of 2008 he was promoted to Assistant Athletics Director, and in 2011 to Associate Athletics Director for Development.
His primary responsibility is the overall administration and leadership of the Athletics Development Office, including oversight of the Sooner Club, major gift, and endowment programs.
Roberts received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina in 1997 where he was a member of the baseball team as a walk-on and volunteer coach. In 1999, he received a master's degree in sports administration from Ohio University.
Matt and his wife, Amanda, currently reside in Norman.
