Zac Selmon
Associate Director of Development
Zac Selmon joined the Sooner Club staff in March of 2010 as assistant director of development. A native of Norman, Okla., Selmon assists in the oversight of major gifts, stewardship and donor relations.
A former student-athlete at Wake Forest, Selmon was a two-time Academic All-ACC honoree as a member of the Wake Forest football team. Selmon was a four-time letterwinner for the Deacons, and a member of the 2006 ACC Championship team. Selmon completed his undergraduate degree in religion with a minor in international studies in 2007.
Upon graduation from Wake Forest, Selmon returned to Norman and began working at the University of Oklahoma as a graduate assistant in event management, and most recently in athletics development. While working towards completion of his master's degree in intercollegiate athletics administration, Selmon was awarded the John McClendon Postgraduate Scholarship.
Selmon is no stranger to OU. His father, Dewey, and uncles, Lucious and Lee Roy, anchored the Sooners' defensive line in the mid-1970's. Selmon's eldest sister, Shannon, was also a member of the OU women's basketball team from 1999 to 2002.
