An experience often described by its members as the “inner circle to OU Athletics,” the Sooner Club provides foundational resources for nearly 600 student-athletes. An organization that was formed to offset the educational expenses for student-athletes has transformed into providing a world-class experience for everyone who wears the Crimson and Cream.
The intersection of OU’s sport and education presents life-altering experiences for all who proudly call themselves Sooners. Iconic coaches and student-athletes have woven their impact into the fabric of what we refer to as “Sooner Magic.” Oftentimes, we use “Sooner Magic” to describe accomplishments that defy the odds, but we also see the making of magic through the investment Sooner Club members have in the lives of student-athletes each year.
For years, we have continued to see your generosity transform the experience for our student-athletes. From the opening of Headington Hall in 2013, the renovation of the south endzone in Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, the grand opening of the Griffin Family Performance Center, the debut of the Ransom Short Course, the investment in resources through the Inspiring Champions Fund and the dedication of Love’s Field in 2024, you have been a difference maker in our championship pursuit... And we are just getting started!
